Guido Mine is the only one of its kind in Europe. It was founded in 1855 by a magnate and entrepreneur Count Guido Henckel von Donnersmarck. The visits to Guido Mine are available at two different levels.

On the higher lever there are stables that are more than 100 years old, showpieces of mining tools and geological exhibition; on the lower level there is a more than two-kilometer long shaft that presents the history of mining and a passage sloped at 18 degrees angle. The tour of the mine also includes a ride in an authentic pit cage.
